These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Theme Craft Studio website and your purchase of any online courses, consultancy services and related digital products offered through the website.

By accessing the website, creating an account or purchasing any product or service from Theme Craft Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the website or purchase any products or services.

Theme Craft Studio is the trading name of Eugenie Santiago, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

“You” and “your” refer to the customer or website user.

the purchase of online courses
one-to-one consultancy services

3. Eligibility

By purchasing from Theme Craft Studio, you confirm that:

Theme Craft Studio provides educational products and consultancy relating to story development.

Current services include:

online educational courses

5. Online Courses

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access the course you have purchased.

Unless otherwise stated on the course page, your purchase includes ongoing access to the course for as long as Theme Craft Studio continues to make that course available through its platform.

Course content may be updated, expanded, revised or replaced from time to time in order to improve its quality or maintain its accuracy.

Videos are provided for streaming only unless expressly stated otherwise.

Downloadable resources, including worksheets and PDF materials, may be downloaded solely for your own personal educational use.

6. Consultancy Services

Theme Craft Studio provides one-to-one consultancy focused on the thematic and structural development of stories using its own proprietary methodology.

Consultancy is intended to assist clients in developing the overall design of a story, including matters such as theme, character transformation, story structure and related narrative concepts.

Consultancy does not include:

script editing
proofreading
dialogue writing
formatting
scene-by-scene analysis
line editing
ghostwriting.

A detailed description of the consultancy services is available on the Consultancy Services page of the website, which forms part of these Terms.

Consultations are normally conducted through Microsoft Teams. Theme Craft Studio may offer alternative video conferencing platforms, including Zoom, where appropriate.

Each consultation includes up to sixty minutes of live consultation. Sessions may conclude earlier if the objectives of the consultation have been achieved.

7. Consultancy Preparation

To ensure that consultations are productive, clients may be asked to provide information about their project before the consultation takes place.

All information, supporting material and communications relating to consultancy services must be submitted through the Theme Craft Studio ticketing system.

Material sent through external email or other communication platforms may not be reviewed and will not form part of the consultancy service.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information relevant to their consultation.

8. AI-Assisted Meeting Notes

To improve the quality and accuracy of consultancy services, meetings may be transcribed or summarised using artificial intelligence tools.

These notes may be reviewed by Theme Craft Studio before being made available to the client through their account.

By booking a consultancy session, you consent to the creation of these consultation records.

9. Accounts

Certain products and services require you to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Each purchase grants access to one individual only.

Accounts may not be shared with others.

If Theme Craft Studio reasonably believes that an account is being shared or used in breach of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access without refund.

10. Intellectual Property

All content available through Theme Craft Studio, including but not limited to videos, text, graphics, diagrams, worksheets, downloads, branding, logos, educational materials and consultancy resources, is protected by intellectual property laws.

The concepts, terminology, diagrams, methodologies and educational frameworks developed by Theme Craft Studio are proprietary and remain the intellectual property of Theme Craft Studio.

Purchasing a course or consultancy service does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.

You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt, publish, resell or create competing educational products based upon our materials without our prior written permission.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

copy or redistribute course materials
share your account with another person
attempt to bypass website security
interfere with the operation of the website
upload malicious software
use Theme Craft Studio content for unlawful purposes.

12. Confidentiality

Theme Craft Studio recognises that clients may disclose original creative ideas, story concepts and other confidential material during consultancy services.

Except where disclosure is required by law or necessary for the operation of the service, we will treat such information as confidential and will not intentionally disclose it to third parties.

This clause does not prevent Theme Craft Studio from using general knowledge, skills and experience acquired through providing consultancy services, provided that no confidential client information is disclosed.

13. Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed on the website in the applicable currency.

Payment must be received in full before access to any course or consultancy service is granted.

Payments for online courses are currently processed through 2Checkout (Verifone), which acts as the Merchant of Record for course purchases.

Payments for consultancy services are processed through Stripe or PayPal, depending on the payment method selected at checkout.

Theme Craft Studio is not currently registered for VAT. Where applicable, any taxes or fees charged by the payment processor will be displayed during the checkout process.

14. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds for online courses and consultancy services are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

The Refund Policy explains, among other things:

eligibility for course refunds
cancellation and refund terms for consultancy services
rescheduling of consultancy appointments
the consequences of failing to attend a scheduled consultation.

By purchasing a course or booking a consultancy session, you agree to the terms set out in the Refund Policy.

15. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights that consumers have under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

Where digital content is supplied immediately following purchase, customers may be asked to acknowledge that immediate access begins and that any statutory cancellation rights applicable to digital content may be affected in accordance with UK law.

16. Disclaimer

Theme Craft Studio provides educational materials and consultancy intended to support creative development.

We do not guarantee that any course or consultancy service will result in completed creative work, publication, commercial success, employment or any particular artistic or financial outcome.

You remain solely responsible for how you apply the information provided.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Theme Craft Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of the website, courses or consultancy services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

18. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available at all times.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally affect availability.

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Theme Craft Studio may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on the website.

Continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
